Plot Summary
Years after the fall of the Vampire Elders and the disbandment of the Lycan armies, Selene lives in exile, watching a crumbling world from the shadows. But whispers of a new enemy begin to circulate—The Purebloods, an ancient sect of vampires believed to be extinct, have returned with one goal: cleanse both races and reclaim dominion over humanity.
Led by the enigmatic and ruthless Queen Valeria, the Purebloods unleash genetically enhanced Lycans and mind-controlled hybrids to eradicate any remnants of the old Vampire and Lycan factions. When Selene discovers that a young hybrid boy, Kail, may be the key to stopping them, she must join forces with unlikely allies—David, the last free vampire, and Lucien’s heir, a rogue Lycan prince.
